Emotional 'Homeland' Trailer Reveals Sorrow and Sexting

Set to Cinematic Orchestra's haunting song "To Build a Home," Showtime's trailer for Homeland's upcoming episodes flashes back and forth from steamy scene to sad storyline in what appears to be an emotional season three for the Emmy-winning drama.

When the series returns Sept. 29, it will pick up during the aftermath of the grim terrorist attacks on the U.S. intelligence apparatus. The horrific event sparked a worldwide manhunt for Nicholas Brody (played by Damian Lewis), who is seen as the most-wanted terrorist.

"As Carrie (Claire Danes) and Saul (Mandy Patinkin) begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody’s whereabouts," Showtime revealed in a statement earlier this year.

The trailer's release on Friday follows last month's 30-second teaser that had no visuals but featured cryptic sound bites from Brody: "Does Carrie know I'm here?"
