During a New Year's Eve busking session in Leeds, UK, Jonathan Walker was approached by a homeless man who asked if they could jam together. Walker didn't know whether the man could sing, but he'd seen him on the streets before and decided to let the man join him.

The video above, which was filmed by a passerby, captures the epic performance that followed. The homeless man, called Bernard Davey, sings along to George Gershwin's "Summertime" while Walker strums along on the guitar. The whole thing is spectacular.

"My spontaneous street jam with Bernard Davey was a soul-affirming, enriching experience which summed up everything I love about street culture," wrote Walker on YouTube.
