Thrill-seekers can travel like James Bond -- on a budget -- with the HondaJet from the Honda Aircraft Company.
The HA-420 HondaJet business jet can carry six passengers comfortably, and has a unique engine design that helps reduce drag. The two HF120 turbofan jet engines run over the wing, and can maintain a cruising speed of 483 MPH. Straight out of a flight-simulator fantasy, the cockpit is equipped with a customized Garmin G3000 avionics system.
The $4.5 million price tag is relatively inexpensive considering that a comparable Gulfstream jet sells for $14 million. The HondaJet has passed all necessary tests, and full-scale production is underway.
