Furthermore, the iPad and BlackBerry apps, which are currently in the works, will also be free.
HootSuite is an advanced social networking dashboard aimed mainly at professionals who need to leverage sites such as Twitter and Facebook for their business needs. HootSuite relies on a freemium business model, and its mobile applications were previously available in a "Lite" and "Full" version, with the latter offering an ad-free interface, the ability to add unlimited social networks and to view ow.ly stats.
Now, the Full version becomes free; furthermore, HootSuite Pro users will get advanced features in their HootSuite mobile clients "in the coming weeks and months."
