You've probably seen them before. Tan legs peeking out on Instagram from a pool or beach, a pose that simultaneously humble-brags that your legs are tan and on the beach. But have you ever noticed how much those legs look like hot dogs?
Alexis Brault noticed the hilarious similarities between packaged meat product and leggy beach shots, creating a Tumblr that poses the question: Hot Dogs or Legs?
Brault told Mashable that the Tumblr started out as a post on his personal blog before he decided to expand the project and open it up to submissions.
"I run a French-Canadian cooking blog called Bob le Chef, and I thought it would be a great content idea," he said. "Then I thought, 'Why not make it look as if it was a trend that already existed on the Internet that I picked up?' So I created the Tumblr from a couple pics of real legs I found on the net and added my own that I made with actual sausages."
In most cases, it's really difficult to tell the difference.
