Need a quick refresher on House of Cards season one before you dive into the political thriller's second season? We've got just the thing to help you prepare.

With 13 new episodes available to binge-watch on Netflix starting on Feb. 14, our friend Shira Lazar from viral trends website What's Trending decided to recap the acclaimed inaugural season in just mere minutes in the above video.

The video speeds through every major event involving the manipulative Congressman Frank Underwood, his equally conniving wife, Claire, the tenacious reporter Zoe Barnes and the substance-abusing politician Peter Russo.

Season one made history in September when it became the first online-only series to win an award during the Primetime Emmys.

Robin Wright, who plays Claire, went on to Best Actress in a TV Drama at the Golden Globes, beating stiff competition from Julianna Marguiles (The Good Wife), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black) and Kerry Washington (Scandal).

Netflix describes the saga in season two as such:

Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) has masterfully maneuvered his way into the vice presidency, but his ascension faces threats on all fronts. Investigative reporter Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) is inching closer to the truth about Frank and Peter Russo (Corey Stoll) and will stop at nothing to break the story. And Frank's wife Claire (Robin Wright), the newly appointed Second Lady, must deal with the bright glare of the spotlight and how the intense scrutiny eats away at their once private existence.
