Grab your binoculars. If you've ever wanted to know what a feminist looks like, some people on Twitter are here to define it for you, whether you think they're being helpful or not.

The trending hashtag #HowToSpotAFeminist was started on Sunday by conservative radio host Doc Thompson for his show, The Morning Blaze, which was founded by former FOX commentator, Glenn Beck.

Any tips on #HowToSpotAFeminist??? We'll discuss tomorrow http://t.co/MlSI2zGap3#WhatILearnedToday— Doc Thompson (@DocThompsonShow) May 3, 2015

Thompson's Twitter account retweeted plenty of their favorite anti-feminist responses from listeners and followers.

Some made attempts at sparking a debate, but most responses at Thompson's hashtag were aimed at making jokes that perpetuated the common "feminazi" stereotype, ample with misandry and body hair.

#HowToSpotAFeminist - Usually fat & ugly, always inherently unlikeable, supremely hypocritical, snarky, annoying, deluded, intransigent.— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) May 5, 2015

Some feminists on Twitter have decided to chime in on the hashtag, adding some straightforward definitions of feminism, declaring themselves as feminists and, yes, even making a few feminist jokes.

Most importantly, what many pro-feminist tweeters especially want to express is that feminism isn't about misandry, but rather that feminism is about equality for all sexes.

Contrary to the stereotype, you don't need to stage a protest or hang a pantsuit out your window to spot a feminist in your daily life. It can be as simple as looking in the mirror.
