Twitter Hammered By HTTP Server Errors

Havng problems using your TweetDeck today? Did you try to load up your Twitter profile, only to be greeted by 500 HTTP Server Errors?

You're not alone. Thousands of users have been reporting an inability to load up profiles, view web pages on Twitter.com, or even tweet from either their apps or the Twitter web client. The microblogging company finally acknowledged the issues on the Twitter status blog:

"We’re looking into the cause of the 500 errors that are being seen by users on twitter.com. We’re also working on the posting problems that many people are running into when trying to create tweets."

Twitter's been having these types of issues recently - last week Twitter was frozen in time - reminding us of the Fail Whale days of 2008. It's becoming a problem, one that the company hopes $100 million and a new COO will help solve.
