BARCELONA -- Huawei's biggest news at Mobile World Congress here on Sunday was its stunning smartwatch and two wearables aimed at business professionals, the Chinese manufacturer quietly showed off a 7-inch tablet that it touted as the world's slimmest.

The MediaPad X2 is 7.28 mm thick and has an all-metallic body, the company said. The ultra 1200 x 1920 HD IPS screen extends to the far edges of the device.

The device comes with a 2.0GHz Kirin 930 ultra-octa chipse, a powerful 5,000 mAh battery (about a day's worth of battery life), a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera with a wide angle of 22 mm (you know, for those panorama selfies).

The device comes in two versions: one with 2G RAM+ 16GROM (silver) and another with 3G RAM+ 32GROM (gold). Both offer 4G network support.

The company has yet to announce details related to availability and price.
