LAS VEGAS -- The Huawei Watch was one of the first Android Wear smartwatches to really care about style, and now the company is looking to ride that momentum to capture a specific customer: women. That’s the impetus behind the Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant, two variants of the wearable that bring the chic.

The Jewel is clearly the favored child of the two new models. Its bezel is bejeweled with no less than 68 Swarovski Zirconia crystals. When you wear the Jewel, the glow from your wrist might not necessarily be a notification.

Elegant, however, has plenty of fashion moxie; it brandishes an extra ring on the bezel and it’s finished in none other than rose gold, which is rapidly wearing out its welcome as the “it” color of choice in the gadget world.

The screens on both the Elegant and Jewel are protected by scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal, and the bodies are stainless steel.

The Elegant costs $499 and the Jewel is $599. Huawei will launch the new smartwatches – which bring the grand total of Huawei Watch models to eight – in the first quarter of 2016.
