Huddle, the online document and task management service, is announcing a few new features this week.

Huddle now has thumbnailing on all major image types, which will help users get a better idea of what images are being stored in the Filing Cabinet. This makes it easier to find the image you're looking for if you've got a very social huddle! They've also added sub-folders to the Filing Cabinet, making organization less daunting, especially for larger numbers of documents. Huddle's Calendar has also been improved upon, enabling you to see events no matter how far in the future they are, and general project milestones that aren't assigned, but will still show for the team's calendar.

Some future plans for Huddle include an online forum for feedback and requests, as well as an interactive help desk for users to post questions and see answers to previous questions. Their biggest upcoming feature (other than real time conferencing, which we mentioned here) may be the download/upload manager that will allow users to save documents directly into your huddle, eliminating the need to save documents to your desktop first. Another service that has improved document upload and download management is Egnyte, which imports directly from your hard drive.
