Here's a handy new feature from Hulu that should be available on most video embeds: search. You can now search for videos from Hulu players that are embedded on other blogs, sites and webpages, and the search results will appear directly in the embedded video screen. That means you don't have to leave the player in order to watch more Hulu content.
Sticky? I think so. More advertising opportunities for Hulu? Sure. Adding search and access to all of Hulu's video content from the embed is a way to distribute a near-complete Hulu viewing experience. It's the next step in the progression of continued content discovery for video networks--YouTube and Veoh already have related videos that display on their embeds, but no direct search capabilities.
