A Hulu Plus application for select Android devices running OS 2.2 (Froyo) will make its debut in a few months time, CEO Jason Kilar announced yesterday during Samsung's press conference at CES. Kilar demoed the application running on a Samsung Galaxy S smartphone during the event.
Hulu Plus will also soon find its way to Vizio Blu-ray players.
Hulu Plus is already available on Roku, TiVo Premiere, iOS devices, consoles, select Internet-connected TVs and soon Boxee Box. The Android application, then, would seem a bit late to the party. The delay can likely be attributed to Hulu and Google butting heads over supporting Hulu Plus on Google TV, though the companies have since ironed out their differences.
In mid November, Hulu's premium service exited preview stage and opened to all with a slightly lower price tag -- $7.99 per month instead of $9.99 per month.
