Need proof? Look no further than today's news: Hulu has inked a deal with Warner Music Group (WMG) for music videos, artist interviews, concert footage and behind-the-scenes moments.

Starting today, Hulu visitors can see music videos and live performances from British alternative rock band Muse on the band page. Similar content from Jason Mraz and Paramore is slated for release on Hulu in early 2010.

The deal, announced in a press release from WMG, comes on the heels of YouTube and Universal's new premium music video offering, Vevo. The site made a huge splash earlier this month due in part to the largesse of its backers and the big names that participated in the launch party.

Michael Nash, an executive vice president with WMG made the following statement:

"We're pleased to be working with Hulu as we expand our premium ad-supported video strategy to provide our artists with a customized and flexible approach to marketing and monetizing their music, by leveraging the most powerful partnerships and platforms in the industry. Hulu has been a leader and innovator in this space, and we look forward to working with them on creating compelling, content-rich artist channels that will provide a dynamic experience to their fans, while introducing our artists to new audiences online."
