Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just human cannonball Gemma Kirby.

Kirby, the world's youngest female human cannonball, performs in the Ringling Bros.' Circus XTREME, and has been shot out of a cannonball more than 500 times. To showcase the dangerous and exhilarating world of extreme circus sports, Kirby, 25, strapped on a GoPro as she was catapulted 40 feet high at almost 60 mph.

"Circus XTREME features artists who redefine the word extreme in everything they do, magnifying traditional elements of the circus, and combining them with never-before-seen spectacles, original fast-paced performances and incredibly hilarious moments," a Ringling Bros. spokesperson told Mashable.

Needless to say, don't try this one at home -- unless your home happens to be the circus.
