As hoards of Katniss Everdeen fans gear up for the premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Nov. 22, the Internet is abuzz with chatter, tributes and parodies of the series' first film.
The latest tribute comes from CineFix who gave the world of Panem an 8-bit makeover, retelling the first film's story entirely in old-school Nintendo fashion. The soundtrack also got an update reminiscent of your childhood video games.
CineFix is known for bringing the 8-bit charm to today's biggest movies. Past videos have included The Dark Knight, Anchorman and even The Shining.
