The final trailer for Hunger Games: Catching Fire gives us the first major glimpse of the deadly forces Katniss will encounter in the Quarter Quell arena. Aside from fighting her fellow contestants, Katniss faces a poisonous fog, destructive tidal wave and other lethal aspects, which readers of the Hunger Games book trilogy know all too well.
Minor spoiler alert for those who haven't read the books: In Catching Fire, victors of past Hunger Games will compete in the 75th Hunger Games, a.k.a. the third Quarter Quell. It's a gruesome tradition pitting victors against each other every 25 years.
Unlike previous Hunger Games, the age limit -- 12 to 18 -- is not enforced. Still, one male and one female from each of the 12 districts, which are rebelling against the villainous president, will compete in the government's morbid contest.
Catching Fire hits theaters on Nov. 22 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland.
The previous two trailers (here and here) highlighted the rebellion. The movie's soundtrack will feature Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, Santigold, Lorde, Mikky Ekko and others.
