"My dear Miss Everdeen, make no mistake," Donald Sutherland's President Snow practically purrs to Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss in this trailer for the final Hunger Games film. "The game is coming to its end."

The natural response from fans: Does it have to?

Oh well. If the saga really is drawing to its conclusion -- and don't be so sure that's actually the case -- at least it looks like it'll go out with a bang.

Everyone is present and accounted for in this glorious two-and-a-half-minute promo for Lionsgate's fourth Hunger Games film: wicked Snow, reluctant heroine Katniss, broody dreamboat Gale (Liam Hemsworth), smirking dreamboat Finnick (Sam Claflin), drunken mentor Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Capitol pawn-turned-pal Effie (Elizabeth Banks), dubiously trustworthy President Coin (Julianne Moore), and even the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman as avuncular Plutarch.

There's also a moment that thrusts the spotlight on Josh Hutcherson's Peeta, who seems to have recovered from the torture that left him a rage-filled shell of a teen in Mockingjay -- Part 1.

"Our lives were never ours. They belong to Snow, and our deaths do too," he tells Katniss as the music swells. "But if you kill him, Katniss, if you end all of this, all those deaths -- they mean something."

As fans of Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games novels already know, the film's plot will follow Katniss and company as they prepare to storm Panem's Capitol -- a tricky process that will seem familiar to anyone who has seen the crew navigate booby trap-filled landscapes in the series' previous installments. In the immortal words of Finnick: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 76th Hunger Games."
