On Monday, SpaceX and Tesla Motors founder Elon Musk announced alpha plans for his Hyperloop high-speed transportation system.
Hyperloop would hypothetically take passengers from San Francisco to Los Angeles in about a half an hour. Reactions to the transport system have ranged from supportive to skeptical.
