HyperText Solutions, Stealthy Semantic Search Offering

Seattle-based HyperText Solutions, the codename for an upcoming semantic search product, acquired a piece of search technology last week: they bought InFact from Insightful Corporation for $3.65 million in cash. That's leading to the inevitable question: what the heck is HyperText Solutions?

The company claims to be building "the world's best NLP [natural language procsessing] based text analysis and search platform" and "making information on the web more intelligent." They're also hiring in the areas of "data modeling, machine/artificial intelligence, large-scale systems management, data mining/filtering, and Javascript wizardry". Heavy stuff.
