Revenue for online advertising hit $5.1 billion in the second quarter of 2007 according to the Internet Advertising Bureau, a 25% increase from last year. As for where all that money is going, 91% of it went to the top 50 web publishers, with 41% going to advertising in search engines.

For the first half of the year, online ad revenues reached nearly $10 billion, setting a new record. Overall, the online ad market looks to be quite healthy, which is good news for all of us (except perhaps the newspapers).
