IBM has launched developer gizmos that are accessible online, for your desktop, and have also been optimized for your iPhone.

With these gizmos (widgets, really), you gain access to IBM content from its developerWorks community as a sort of news feed. You can select what kind of content you'd like to see in your widget, based on the free content that's provided by IBM developerWorks. There are about 20 categories available, covering a range of trends in business that will be useful for developers. With each category, you get content that's been pulled from blogs, forums, wikis, tutorials, podcasts and other technology resources through developerWorks. Place it on your Google, Yahoo or Netvibes start page, your desktop, or your iPhone.

In other IBM developerWorks news, the service has recently been made available for you to create your own network Spaces within this community for developers.
