Go to an ice rink and you’re likely to hear the sounds of Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. For whatever reason, children and ice rinks seem to prefer the “poppy and upbeat” not “goth rock rap metal.”

At an ice rink in Bruges, Belgium, however, a crowd of happy children were peacefully skating when a different kind of tune came through the loudspeakers: Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name.” The song, which features this subtle, melodious refrain -- “F*ck you, I won’t do what you do what you tell me” –- was then played loudly, and repeatedly, in front of a crowd of tiny children and their moms.

In the video, the cherub-faced children seem to really enjoy the chorus of “F*ck yous.” As Tom Morello and the sounds of Rage Against Machine bellow through the loudspeakers, the children happily, and placidly, skate forward.
