Nothing gold can stay -- not even Cat Fancy.

The rebranding is clearly a response to cats' total domination of the internet. But a new print publication, however modern, doesn't seem like it it has much of a chance against the endless stream of adorable felines on Instagram and Tumblr.

To honor the prestigious publication, here are 10 Cat Fancy covers that captured our hearts over the years.
