The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may have met their match with "parachuting 1950s Idaho beavers," which were apparently a real thing.

A recently unearthed video created around 1950 reveals the very interesting way the Idaho Fish and Game Department used to relocate trapped beavers. Their solution? Putting them in a box and throwing them out of an airplane with a parachute.

We showed you photos of the practice in January, but this newly recovered footage is the only known video evidence of the furry creatures skydiving. In the video the parachuting beavers are shown around the seven-minute mark.
