Idris Elba's otherworldly beauty has found a new astral home.
The actor has officially joined the cast of Star Trek Beyond. His casting was announced in a super nonchalant fashion, via a promotional video for a charity contest the film's cast is throwing. The promo video assembled the usual suspects like Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, John Cho and more, before Elba casually strolled onto the set.
"Idris, glad you could join us," Pine quips.
We're glad too, Chris. We're glad too.

There's no word yet on what character Elba will be playing, but the role probably won't employ the breakdancing skills he showed off in the video.
