Over the course of a decades-long career, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have changed a bit.

In their new reboot, the heroes in a half-shell have grown into hulking, digital badasses. But one thing remains the same: their namesakes.

The Ninja Turtles are named after four artists of the Italian Renaissance: Da Vinci, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo. So, what would the turtles look like if Da Vinci et. al. had designed them?
