Iminent Launches MySpace IM Widget

Iminent, the IM client that adds video and fun emoticons to IM, is launching a widget today for MySpace, hi5, Piczo and the rest.

As demonstrated in the demo, this lets you play back a chat conversation from your Windows Live Messenger logs and add effects, soundtracks and animations. Once complete, you can add this widget to your social profiles. It's aimed at teens, they say, and the creator is here.

I'm not exactly sure what the point is: presumably self expression, like most of the leading widgets on the world's most popular social network. But perhaps it's even stretching self expression a little far: is there really a demand for posting your chat logs publicly?
