Imeem, an online music community, has signed an agreement with EMI to legally offer the label’s full audio and video catalog to users. Similar to the deals the company has signed previously with Sony BMG and Warner Music, EMI will allow Imeem users to stream music for free on the site and through widgets in exchange for a share of the advertising revenue generated. Imeem currently claims more than 18 million users.
