I've been in a startup situation before where there were little to no backing of the company at all, and I've been at a company situation or two where money and funding wasn't really a problem or an issue. Of the two situations, I much prefer the latter than the former. There are specific advantages to both situations, though.

Aaron Newton over Iminta is out to prove, though, that you don't need $5 million in backing to make a quality product, and has been answering feature for feature everything that FriendFeed is doing over at his lifestreaming service. He wrote us today letting us know of a few new things he's doing over there that once again puts them out in front of the lifestreaming service horse-race.

In addition to that, there is something he's calling a "get inta it" link, which is analogous to Twhirl's "re-tweet" option, or Tumblr's "repost." The function allows you to peruse through other's intas and copy from their strea into yours with full attribution of the source.

Another annoying issue solved is the sometimes non-descript titles and summaries you find on the Digg or Reddit systems. Instead of copying verbatim (which is still an option), you've now the option to go in and edit the titles to be a bit more descriptive and useful. Another small update is a notification system that alerts you via email when one of your items has been commented on.

Yet another useful addition is the bookmarklet, which makes adding new items into Iminta a breeze.
