In Montreal You Can Play Music by Swinging

In Montreal, you can now play a symphony swinging on swings.

An interactive installation made of 21 swings, placed in the city's Quartier des spectacles, allows people to play music by swinging. Each swing plays its own notes, but the key is using them together to trigger unique melodies that only play when swinging cooperatively. That's the idea of the whole project: highlight the importance of doing things together.

The installation is only available in Montreal but a travelling version is being made to bring the musical swings to other cities around the world.
