Soggy weather did little to dampen spirits as President Obama, along with first lady, Michelle Obama, and the couple's two daughters, landed in Cuba, the first U.S. president to visit the country in 88 years (Calvin Coolidge being the last).

Among the first stops in a jam-packed trip were the new U.S. Embassy in Havana, a walking tour of Old Havana, and a visit to Catedral de La Habana. There's plenty more to come for the president, including a meeting with Raul Castro and attending a baseball game between the Cuban national team and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Here are a selection of photos from the Obamas' arrival on Sunday in Havana.
