India is getting for its 67th Republic Day on 26 Jan., which is marked by a grand, three-hour-long parade in New Delhi. This short video by The Indian Express offers a sneak peek at the rehearsals for the parade, which is led by the army, navy and air force.

This rehearsal video shows various military regiments that will be marching and performing on the day, including the Border Security Force camel contingent, army dogs, the cavalry, mlitary bands, war tanks, and daredevils on motorcyles. Apart from these, the parade has air shows by Indian Air Force's fighter jets, as well as cultural tableux and floats from each state in India, performances by folk artists and schoolchildren.

This year's parade has two unique features. Several adorable Indian army dogs, including labradors and German shepherds, will march in the parade after 26 years. Also for the first time, a foreign contigent will participate in the Republic Day parade. With French president Francois Hollande is the chief guest, French troops will march alongside their Indian counterparts.
