An Indian politician decided to protest against Delhi's odd-even traffic restrictions by riding to the Parliament on horseback.

Ram Prasad Sharma, a member of Bharatiya Janata Party, rode on his white steed, carrying a placard that stated "pollution free vehicle".

Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party-led government is currently implementing the second phase of the odd-even scheme, which restricts the movement of private vehicles on alternate dates to reduce air pollution and traffic jams.

Legislators of Sharma's opposition Bharatiya Janata Party have demanded exemption from the scheme by arguing that it disrupts their work. In response, the Delhi government is running air-conditioned buses for all Members of Parliament.
