The Indian Pacers may have the flashiest alternate uniforms in the NBA when next season rolls around.
The team announced Tuesday that it's partnering with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hoosiers. The Pacers will mark the occasion by wearing Hickory uniforms on select occasions throughout the season.
The uniforms are replicas of what the Hickory high basketball players wore in the film.

Pacers guard George Hill was the first to show off the new uniform, via his Instagram and Twitter accounts:

Hoosiers, starring Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper, hit theaters in 1986. The film is based on Milan High School’s improbable run to an Indiana state boys basketball championship in 1954.
"Our team will be honored to wear the Hickory uniforms because of the attention it will bring to the storied history of Indiana basketball and the success of that movie," Pacers president of basketball operations Larry Bird said in a statement. "'Hoosiers takes us all back to a special place and time.”

The uniforms are the latest installment in the NBA Pride Collection -- a uniform program meant to signify each NBA team's region or history. The league said in a statement that the uniforms would be worn during select regular season games.
The jerseys are not on sale yet, according to the Indianapolis Star. But based on the initial reception, it seems they'll be a hot item.
