As it usually goes, it only took a couple of days for Indonesia to remove the countrywide YouTube and MySpace ban, enforced because of the controversial movie Fitna.
Instead of blocking the biggest sites on the net, the Indonesian government now plans to focus on banning the individual pages on YouTube and MySpace which contain the offensive video.
A quote from Information and Communication Minister Mohammad Nuh struck me as interesting. "It is like removing cancer from the body without making the patient die," he said, and I'm not entirely sure I understand what he meant.
