'Infinity Blade' Is Free All Week in App Store

Mobile action RPG Infinity Blade is free on Apple's App Store.

The highly successful game was one of the first to bring sophisticated graphics to the mobile phone; it was built on the Unreal 3 engine that has powered some PC and console games for the past few years.

Infinity Blade was released in October 2010 on iTunes for $5.99 and since then has generated more than $20 million in revenue for publisher Epic Games.

It spawned a sequel, Infinity Blade II, as well as Infinity Blade Dungeons, which had its development put on hold after Epic Games closed the studio behind it.

Infinity Blade will be on sale for the next week, so snag it while you can.
