In our latest Mobile Minute video, we take a look at the next phase of wearable technology including smart contact lenses, implantable sensors, and even ingestible pills that track your health from inside your body.

The digital health feedback system, created by Proteus Digital Health, uses a tiny sensor that the patient ingests with their medicine. Once inside the stomach, the sensor communicates with a patch the patient wears externally, which then sends information to a synced smart device. The sensor can track everything from heart rate and temperature, to activity and rest patterns.
