Have you ever wondered what a man would look like in a crocheted pizza headdress? Look no further.
Phil Ferguson, 22, was living in Melbourne, Australia, when his burger shop job inspired him to take his passion for crocheting to Instagram.
While the textile artist's first hat was a pot plant with a cactus in it, his oeuvre has since focused on wool-made food, from watermelons to bowls of spaghetti. Ferguson's comestible style has attracted him a huge following on Instagram -- over 56,000 followers -- and now, global interest.
Ferguson denies he was on any psychotropic substances when he came up with the project. Rather, it's all about the food. "I’m stuck on the food thing right now," he told the SBS food blog. "One, because it’s easy [to find] inspiration and, two, because it’s a popular thing –- a near-universally popular thing. As if anybody will hate food!"
