While museums around the world are putting a lockdown on selfie sticks, a museum in the Philippines wants visitors to be part of the art on display.

Art in Island, located at a former bus station in Manila, capitalizes on the city's reputation as the selfie capital of the world with modified versions of famous works of art. The idea is for visitors to literally make themselves part of the picture.

"Here, art paintings are not complete if you are not with them ... If you don't take pictures with them," said Blyth Cambaya, corporate secretary of Art in Island.
