In the 15 years that people have been living and working aboard the International Space Station, astronauts and cosmonauts have sent incredible views of Earth from the orbiting laboratory. The current crew onboard the outpost is no exception.

More than 220 people from 17 countries have spent time on the Space Station since the first crew floated through the hatch on Nov. 2, 2000, according to NASA.

Astronaut Scott Kelly, a crew member spending a year on the Space Station, has been posting gorgeous photos of our planet with the hashtag #EarthArt on social media. The almost alien colors of Earth pop in the close-up images of unrecognizable terrain.

Sometimes, Kelly shares the locations of his photos; other times, he leaves geography out of the mix, letting your imagination run wild. Take a look for yourself at some of the ones he's shared.
