Interpol (the band, not the agency) is trapped in the monster snowstorm that hit Buffalo, New York this week. The band's bus has been completely stuck in snow for more than 48 hours now, and the band has already been forced to cancel two shows in Toronto and Montreal.

"It’s with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of our show tomorrow night in Montreal. We’ve been stranded in a snowstorm outside of Buffalo for over 40 hours and still don’t know when we’ll be able to move from our current position," the band wrote on its official website Wednesday.

With little else to do but wait, the band took to Twitter to explain the situation to their fans -- and crack a few jokes in the process as well.

And then...it started snowing again. Hoping the plows are able to make some progress. Still stuck.-DK pic.twitter.com/mc7MzttXvm— Interpol (@Interpol) November 19, 2014

Judging from the band's latest tweets, and unfortunately for the fans, that bus will not be moving anytime soon.

Settling in for another night. Haven't moved all day. Hoping the expected storm tonight ain't as bad as predicted. C'mon now now.-DK— Interpol (@Interpol) November 20, 2014

The storm be picking up right now. Weird lightning effects. Cccccc'mon.-DK— Interpol (@Interpol) November 20, 2014

Also, the band members might be losing their minds from the long isolation.

So...Paul is all like British people don't like peanut butter and I'm like, not true. Public opinion?! Peanut butter is awesome.-DK. Truth.— Interpol (@Interpol) November 20, 2014

Let's just hope it all ends well and soon. The band's next show is scheduled for Boston, Nov. 21.
