Apple announced the following updates Monday at its Worldwide Developers Conference.

Sports

For some sports-related questions Siri will give players their own baseball card-like screens. Siri can tell you stats like the batting average for your favorite player, or information like who's taller -- LeBron or Kobe.

Food

If you're looking for a place to eat dinner Siri can sort restaurants by rating. Apple has also integrated in Open Table, so you can make reservation for your meal right from the same screen.

Movies

When it comes to looking up movies, Siri can not only let you know what's playing where but can also let you know how the flick is going to be thanks to a new integration with Rotten Tomatoes. You can also watch the trailers for films to decide if you want to see a particular movie.

Movies can also be searched for by actor.

Launch Apps

Now Siri can launch apps. Saying something like “Launch Temple Run” will launch the game on your phone, without you having to search for the game icon on your screen.

Eyes free

Apple is working with car manufacturers to include a button that will bring up Siri so you can keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. A number of manufacturers have committed to delivering Eyes Free in the next 12 months.
