iOS 6 Users Complain About Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues

Some iOS 6 users are complaining about Wi-Fi and connectivity issues with their devices.

Some are simply unable to turn the Wi-Fi on after upgrading to iOS 6; others' Wi-Fi is seemingly working but they're unable to connect to a network.

The usual "reset network settings" fix doesn't seem to solve the problem, and no complete solution has been found yet.

The thread about the issue on Apple's support forums is 94 pages long, indicating that these problems affect quite a number of users.

"Just upgraded 4S to iOS6 OTA and upon completion my WiFi is greyed out and disabled. I've rebooted the phone, turned On/Off AirPlane mode. Still unable to turn WiFi on," says one user.

"Same here with a 4S. All was well with the Wi-Fi, performed the update and BOOM...no Wi-Fi. Tried the restore and reinstall," says another.

This is not the only Wi-Fi related issue iOS 6 upgraders have seen. A Wi-Fi login bug that annoyed users has been quickly resolved by Apple; other users complained that their music libraries had vanished.
