The Next iPad Will be Called iPad HD and Support 4G?

Wednesday is iPad day, and rumors are flying through the Internet faster than ever. We've confirmed with a reliable source that the next-gen iPad will be called iPad HD. Another set of rumors claim the device will support 4G connectivity, which would be somewhat surprising, given the iPhone 4S isn't quite there yet.

Government Agencies and Colleges Demand Applicants' Facebook Data

A report from MSNBC claims that some U.S. government agencies and colleges are demanding applicants turn over their Facebook data. They may not be directly asking for their Facebook password, but they're either requiring them to show them the contents of their profile or to friend an agency/college employee so their Facebook activities can be monitored.

Samsung Launches Tiny Android Smartphone

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Pocket, a 2.8-inch budget Android smartphone. Its specs are nothing to write home about - it only has 3 GB of dedicated storage and an 832 MHz CPU - but it's small, reasonably thick (12 mm) and it supports HSPA. It's slated to hit the UK market later this year.
