Just one day before Apple's big press event, pictures of an iPad mini model have hit the web.
French site NowehereElse has posted mockup pictures of a much smaller iPad. The pictures -- which are in line with rumors surrounding the iPad mini -- were first published by Chinese website DGTLE.com, but those pictures are no longer displayed on the site.
Although these images are just mockups of what we could see in the future, it gives us a good look at how the iPad mini could stack up in size against the iPad and iPhone.
The model comes as Apple gears up to launch its next-generation iPhone device on Wednesday in San Francisco. Despite speculation that we would see an iPad mini launch soon, industry reports have said the smaller tablet will likely get its own dedicated press event in October.
