Yes, you look ridiculous using an iPad Pro to take photos

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Here's an example: you can use Apple's new 12.9-inch iPad Pro as a camera, but you definitely shouldn't. That's not because the iPad Pro has a bad camera because the eight-megapixel iSight camera is quite good -- it's just that you look ridiculous using it.

To prove the point I enlisted Mashable's Jhila Farzaneh to take pictures of me taking pictures of stuff with Apple's embiggened iPad. The purpose of this wasn't to make fun of Apple but to dissuade iPad Pro users from making fools of themselves.

If you want an iPad Pro, go for it: it's definitely one of the best tablets you can buy. Just don't buy it to take pictures of stuff in public.
