Sure, we all know the iPhone 5 has got some pretty impressive hardware under the hood, but very few of us are really willing to pull out a screwdriver and take apart the brand new gadget to see what’s inside.

TechInsights did the dirty work for us, and provided Mashable with photos of a complete teardown of the A1428 model of iPhone 5. That particular version of the phone is optimized for the AT&T and Canada’s LTE networks (there are actually three different iPhone 5 models out there).

Popular repair site iFixIt started its own teardown of the iPhone 5 just hours after the handset went on sale this morning. In its assessment of the device, it found that the iPhone 5 will ultimately be easier to repair than the iPhone 4S.

The front digitizer, LCD, and glass, however, are just one component on the iPhone 5, which increases the devices repair cost of you happen to crack or break your screen.
