All the latest Apple rumors point toward a larger iPhone 6, possibly making its debut this fall, and now there are more photos to back them up.

New images of what is purported to be the iPhone 6 cropped up on Japanese tech site ASCII this week, offering close-up views of what could be Apple's first phablet-style device.

The images closely match another set of images, said to be the iPhone 6, which we reported on back in May.

Those earlier images emerged from Taiwan, but these new images cropping up in another Asian country offer more hints that this is indeed the next version of the iPhone.

Like the earlier set of images, the supposed iPhone 6 is thinner, features a larger screen and has a unique new rear design sporting black bands that could be new antennas for the device.

Additionally, the device's rounded edges and slightly updated side buttons are consistent with earlier views of the supposed iPhone 6.

Of course, this could simply turn out to be a false mock-up. But authentic iPhone 6 or not, this is a fairly sophisticated piece of design work, so even if it's not the real thing, most would agree that this is an attractive vision for the next iteration of Apple's flagship device.
