Carbonicum designed the handmade cases for iPhone models 4, 4S and 5. The company is trying to raise $5,000 on Kickstarter to develop its cases further.
The campaign, which closes in 26 days, has raised more than half of its $5,000 goal at the time of writing. A carbon fiber case for the iPhone 4 or 4S requires a $35 pledge, while the iPhone 5 case is available for a $45 pledge. All will be available in matte or glossy finishes.
Reports indicate that Apple will announce its next iPhone on Sept. 10. According to a patent application, the company may be developing its own carbon reinforcement.
